What is vertigo:
The feeling of dizziness and vertigo are two symptoms that, while not particularly threatening, can develop or hide a more harmful and dangerous condition.
Vertigo can be caused by:
VERTIGO OF CENTRAL ETIOLOGY
- from sickness-flu
- from diseases of the cardiovascular or central nervous system
- from hematological causes or metabolic diseases
VERTIGO OF PERIPHERAL CAUSE
- from diseases and ailments of the ear
- from mental causes and side effects of drugs
Symptoms:
The symptoms of vertigo are tension, fatigue, closed eyes, nystagmus, and visual fixation, and are often accompanied by other symptoms. The characteristics of vertigo differ in peripheral and central vertigo.
PERIPHERAL
- Serious Intensity
- Fatigue
- Nystagmus Horizontal, horizontal circular
- Suppresses nystagmus
- Hard of hearing, nausea, sweat
CENTRAL
- Mild Intensity
- Vertical nystagmus
- Weakness, numbness, very likely falls
